Watch the Baltimore Orioles prepare to defend their AL East title as they take on the Atlanta Braves in a spring training battle. Thanks to the O's successful 2023 season, skipper Brandon Hyde was named AL Manager of the Year, and infielder Gunnar Henderson was unanimously voted AL Rookie of the Year. With a World Series championship in 2021, the Braves have been one of the more dominant teams in the NL, boasting a lineup that includes reigning league MVP Ronald Acuña Jr. Game time is 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, and tickets start at $29.
36th Annual Springfest Festival - City Hall Field, 5801 Marina Dr., Holmes Beach, FL 34217
Take a break from viewing Holmes Beach homes for sale to stop by the 36th Annual Springfest Festival. Get fascinating insight into the artistic process at the Clyde & Niki Butcher Meet & Greet, taking place just minutes from Venice homes for sale. In conjunction with the return of Clyde's "America the Beautiful" exhibit, which has spent the last decade traveling around the United States, a retrospective of Clyde's career in photography will be on display in the gallery's darkroom. Paws in Motion Walk-a-thon and Festival - Rossi Park at the Riverwalk, 453 3rd Ave. W., Bradenton, FL 34205
Join your furry four-legged BFF for one of the more popular events near Bradenton homes for sale. 2024 marks the 17th year of the Paws in Motion Walk-a-thon and Festival, a fundraiser for the Second Chance Adoption Center of the Humane Society of Manatee County. After a one-mile walk, you and Fido can have fun exploring activities such as a dog lure course, Vendor Village, games and raffles, live music, and food trucks. Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 16 from 8 a.m. - noon. The $35 walk-a-thon registration fee includes a t-shirt and a goodie bag.
Cirque des Voix - Sailor Circus Arena, 2075 Bahia Vista St., Sarasota, FL 34239
The name translates to "Circus of Voices," and Cirque des Voix is definitely a spectacle of sight and sound. Sounds are provided by the magnificent Cirque Orchestra and the talented 100+ members of Key Chorale, while a breathtaking collection of circus acts offers the sights. Appearances at the Sailor Circus Arena, right down the street from Sarasota homes for sale, include a 7 p.m. show on Friday, March 22, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows on Saturday, March 23. Tickets range from $50-$100.
